When it came time to shoot our new Dog Park wallpaper, we really wanted to feature some real life doggies in the photos. Because my dogs are in MN and we shoot in SF (and also because they are notoriously difficult in photo shoots), Christiana asked her friend Lee who runs Copper's Dream rescue if she had some dogs that wouldn't mind modeling.
Lee very graciously obliged and showed up with this charmer, Petey...
And these two little cuties, Pumpkin and Cookie. Christiana was clearly enjoying the puppy snuggling portion of the shoot - who wouldn't?
These are not our typical wallpaper photo shoot props. We reached out to Found My Animal - an amazing company that makes really great looking, handmade leashes and collars and also supports dog rescue - and they were super generous and sent us product. If you are in the market for a leash or a collar, definitely check them out!
Petey was an absolute pro - here he is crushing it.
As expected, the puppies required a bit more wrangling. While Christiana was coaxing them into position, Petey took a shine to our photographer James...
And it looks like the feeling was mutual. So sweet!
We ended up having more adorable shots than we could use! And our story has a very happy ending because all three of our sweet doggie models have been adopted - we're so glad that each of them have found homes. Many, many thanks to Copper's Dream and to Found My Animal for helping to make our Dog Park shoot such a success!
