It's been a whirlwind couple months to say the least. But we wanted to take a moment to thank some folks who helped make our little book tour so successful (and fun!).
We already shared our SF event, so starting after that... We LOVED spending time with Sara Fritsch, President at Schoolhouse, interior designer, Katie Hackworth (not pictured; she had to catch her flight back to Seattle!) and Jessie Whipple Vickery designer, illustrator and co-founder of Pattern People (who designed our Underwater World and Forest Floor wallpaper). We were truly inspired to chat with such incredible and talented business women - thank you, ladies!
While in Portland, we also stopped by The Perlene for an intimate chat with other women entrepreneurs. We had such a lovely evening! It was so nice to meet so many other women doing cool things, including the founder, Kiki Littlestar. Thanks again!
In Minneapolis, we spent an evening with Heather Fox of Fox Homes (and HGTV!) chatting design at Fig + Farro. [Photo credit goes to Manny, Aimee's husband - nice pic, Manny!]
They made a specialty cocktail with edible stars. So... that sealed the deal. It was a good book event - thank you Michelle and team! And big thanks to Heather for joining us!
We wrapped up the book events with a grand finale in NYC!
After hitting up Pinterest for a really fun lunch time chat, we headed to Pottery Barn, where the one and only Julia Rothman was kind enough to be our "panel moderator" - HUGE thank you, Julia!
The next day, we have the best book sighting yet! We didn't even move the book or anything. We just magically saw it cover out at McNally Jackson Books in Soho.
It was a selfie-worthy moment. And, for us (especially Aimee...) that is really saying something. Go our book!
