Tomato red illustration on an off white background interior; off white exterior
This design was directly inspired by traditional embroidered textiles from the Otomi people of Mexico. Designer Emily Isabella borrowed their folk art styling to create a contemporary look for your home. As with many of the Otomi textiles, this print tells a story but it is up to you to translate it.
Aplat is a soft goods company that designs simple, beautifully crafted and easy to carry products. Founder Shujan Bertrand created the company in homage to her family lifestyle in France, which involves rituals of sharing locally farmed food, wine, and gifts. Aplat is the first to market a culinary tote collection that people love for its innovative design, practicality and sustainability. Designed and manufactured in San Francisco and made in small-batches, Aplat totes are engineered to have zero waste in material and production.
