Dreamed about Andanza for years and finally installed the copper version in a 1924 Spanish bungalow. I'm a laundress who loves a good ironing session. This sweet home couldn't support a full laundry but thanks to Andaza copper wallpaper and some custom touches, we created a gorgeous laundry closet: rich thick, walnut butcher block shelf atop side by side washer/dryer with room for basket catch-alls and stands behind decorative metal cutout paneled doors painted champagne bronze. The doors are painted Dragon Fly greenish grey by Portola Paints. Our wallpaper hanger extolled the beauty and ease of the paper - it washed clean, matched perfectly and the sizing of the pattern enabled him to situate a sweet floral just in line with the shelf. Results exceeded everyone's expectations. It's quite the showpiece and zen spot for laundry tasks. The copper just glows and delicately sparkels in the light and behind decorative panel doors. As a world traveller, this design conjures up vibes of several cultures and adds a hefty touch of glamour and tranquility. One of my best designs yet!
