Before & After: A Pattern Happy Basement Bar

We are loving this basement bar makeover using our Storyline (White) wallpaper! Ariel at PMQ for Two nailed it again.

We asked our pattern loving friend Ariel why she chose the Storyline pattern for this space: "I chose it because the illustrations remind me of Those of Ludwig Bemelmans (the artist behind Madeline) who also painted the walls in Bemelmans Bar at the Carlisle in NYC. Since this is OUR bar, I thought it was a fitting choice. By choosing the white pattern, I get to use it as a whimsical neutral."

And...did she have any tricks or tips for wallpapering? "Because this space has so many little panels and areas, matching the patterns could have been a nightmare. But I took things really slowly and didn’t rush. I tend to power through, often at the expense of quality and this time I didn’t!"
