Things Are Looking Up: Our Favorite Wallpapers for the Ceiling
We just love a wallpapered ceiling so we've rounded up some of our favorite installation images from Instagram for a little fifth wall inspiration.
Daydream. This pattern is a no-brainer. Soaring birds and floating clouds are right at home overhead. No wonder it's our most popular wallpaper for the ceiling! Images via @addisonswonderland, @in.house.design, @hartandlockdesign, @khurliman1, @robin.m.anderson, and @jennykomenda.
Peonies. For spring flower showers all year long, Peonies wallpaper is perfection. The pattern works visually from all directions which makes it a beautiful choice. Images via @pamelacolleen and @awolfinchicclothing.
Petal Pusher. Another great floral that looks great from any direction. Image via @melissaennisdesign.
Forest Floor. The movement in this pattern is so beautiful and the touch of metallic picks up a lot of light which makes it perfect for the fifth wall. Image via @maxwellgrayinteriors.
Pineapple. For a most welcoming and eye-catching ceiling, this pattern is where it is at. Images via @astoriedstyle and @awolfinchicclothing.
Mermaids. With swimming mermaids and sea creatures above, you couldn't feel more under the sea. We love this unexpected pattern on the ceiling! Image via @residentsunderstood.
Strike. This subtle, but striking ceiling application is that perfect extra detail to make this space extra fresh. Image via @hyggeandwest.
Queen Anne. Wanting your ceiling fit for royalty? This pattern is another wonderful floral that looks perfect from all directions. Image via @ambersans.
Florebela. We don't have an installation image of this pattern quite yet, but we think this wallpaper is another fabulous floral choice for a ceiling - especially here in this country kitchen nook. We'll keep you posted on this one!
