Folklore Wallpaper

This is a traditional wallpaper screen printed on coated paper for a luxe, hand-painted look and feel. It is highly durable, fade resistant, and made in the USA.

This design was inspired by both the traditional embroidered textiles of the Otomi people of Mexico and the centuries-old and ubiquitous folk art of Scandinavia, but with a contemporary twist. Like many folk-art textiles across cultures, this pattern tells a story — but it is up to you to translate it.

Designed in collaboration with Emily Isabella.
